This two-day event will engage more than 200 senior-level leaders from across government agencies, private sector, academic organizations and civil society from Latin America, Central America, the Caribbean and the United States to discuss the impacts of droughts and floods on urban water infrastructure and the need for creating resilient cities. Building climate-ready structures requires substantial up-front investments. This conference will present innovative finance models, including public-private approaches, and link investors to urban water leaders and private solutions. Confirmed principal speakers include: Mr. Patrick Decker, President and CEO, Xylem, Inc.; Mr. Luis Alberto Moreno, President, Inter-American Development Bank; Ms. Catherine Novelli, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment; and Mr. Ruffner Page, President, McWane Inc.; Dr. Partho Sanyal, Managing Director, Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Latin America Investment Banking Group. Come learn about technical solutions to floods and droughts from urban water resilience experts, and discuss innovative project finance options at networking roundtables.
