Proposed Water Supply and Sanitation Strategies for the Ministry of Public Health in the Thailand Sixth Five-Year Plan, 1987-1991
At the request of the Ministry of Public Health within the Royal Thai Government, USAID arranged the submission of a Master Plan for Rural Water and Sanitation by the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok to the National Economic and Social Development Board of the Government of Thailand. Protecting and promoting public health through improved water supplies and sanitary practices are major goals of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) but not of the any key agencies responsible for water supplies in rural and semiurban areas.
