Pond Dynamics/Aquaculture Collaborative Research Data Reports: Volume Four, Number Two, Philippines Project -- Cycle II of The Global Experiment
The Work Plan for Cycle II outlined experiments designed to test the hypothesis that organic maintenance fertilizer inputs would perform better, in terms of fish production and of water quality, than inorganic inputs with equivalent contents of total nitrogen and phosphorus. The CRSP freshwater experimental sites used Oreochromis niloticus (Nile tilapia) as the primary test organism, whereas the brackish water sites used appropriate species of penaeld shrimp.
