Heavy monsoon rains resulted in flooding in SE Nepal that displaced 70,000 people. Heavy rains in mid-western and far western Nepal caused floods and landslides that displaced 180,000 people. USAID/OFDA contributed to SC/US for protection, relief commodities, and water, sanitation, and hygiene support for IDPs and other conflict-affected populations. 1.3 million people are highly to severely food-insecure.
