The purpose of this consultancy was to conduct an assessment which would: (1) identify the human resource requirements of the sector, including the fisheries private sector, the Fisheries Department at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), and the Directorate General of Fisheries (DGF); and (2) propose suitable method ds, arrangements, and time schedules for implementation of this component of the project.
