This factsheet provides an overview of USAID/OFDA Fiscal Year 2010 Cash-For-Work Activities in Haiti. The January 12, 2010, earthquake in Haiti destroyed homes, damaged productive assets, and disrupted transportation and market infrastructure'affecting economic activity at the household, community, and regional levels. To help affected communities resume economic activity and rebuild livelihoods, USAID/OFDA supports temporary employment through short-term, CFW opportunities in a variety of sectors.
