Gravity or wells could be used to provide water to target communities. MSP has identified 3000 communities as possibly requiring wells and SANAA has identified 500 communities as its target (approx. 2000 wells could be needed). This project is located in rural areas of western Honduras. USAID requested that a WASH consultant evaluate the feasibility of constructing wells in rural areas as a means of providing rural water supply.
