The EIA Technical Review Guidelines for Non-Metal and Metal Mining were developed as part of a regional collaboration to better ensure proposed mining projects undergoing review by government officials, non-governmental organizations and the general public successfully identify, avoid, prevent and/or mitigate potential adverse impacts and enhance potential beneficial impacts through out the life of the projects.
