EVALUATES USAID ASSISTANCE TO THE GOVT OF THE PHILIPPINES FROM 11/01/66-11/30/66 TO UNDERTAKE SURVEYS AND STUDIES PREPARATORY TO THE FORMULATION OF COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE NATION'S SEVEN MAJOR RIVER BASINS. THE CENTRAL LUZON, CAGAYAN, COTABATO AND AUGSAN BASIN REPORTS ARE IN FINAL REPRODUCTION. THE PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR THE BICOL RIVER BASIN IS BEING REVIEWED, AND THE PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE ILOG-HILABANGAN RIVER BASIN IS IN REPRODUCTION. THE AERO SERVICE CORP CONTINUED THE TOPOGRAPHIC MAP AND MOSAIC WORK UNDER ITS CONTRACT WITH THE US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION. ALL MOSAICS, EXCEPT CAGAYAN NORTH, HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED. INSPECTION AND CORRECTION OF ALL TOPOGRAPHIC RESERVOIR SITE MAPS, EXCEPT PUNCAN MOUNTAIN, ARE IN PROGRESS. THE US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION PROJECT ENGINEER CAME ABOARD 11/30. A PLANNING ENGINEER ARRIVED ON 11/19 FOR 30 DAYS TDY AND COUNTRY CLEARANCE WAS OBTAINED FOR A HYDROLOGIST TO REPORT FOR ASSIGNMENT IN EARLY DECEMBER.
