The project purpose it to provide for the development and maintenance of a "Resource Center" at the recipient institution that will be a repository for skills and information in fishery development and management through the combination of applied research and practical experience; and to strengthen and expand the recipients institutional capacity to assist programs in developing countries aimed at improving the nutritional, employment and living conditions of the poor majority.
