SPRING/Uganda is about to complete its initial 18-month work plan that commenced on May 25, 2013 and ends on September 30, 2013. As a result of implementation of the work plan, a firm foundation was laid for rapid acceleration of progress towards the project objectives. The objectives are focused on addressing the challenge of childhood and maternal anemia, and childhood stunting, through strengthening systems using the first 1,000 days approach.
